Dana Maria: Making Spirituality Accessible

Dana Maria

Authentic. Genuine. Inspiring. Those are the words that students of Dana Maria, spiritual mentor, registered yoga instructor and certified celebrant, use when describing her. Dana, who has been teaching yoga, meditation and metaphysical concepts for nearly 16 years, is passionate about showing her students how they can incorporate these practices into their daily lives. “I don’t just teach about these philosophies. I teach them in an understandable and usable way,” states Dana. “It’s important to me that my students leave feeling that personal growth is possible.”

This way of teaching helped Dana craft her business name, Accessible Spirituality. “I came up with it because I view life through a spiritual lens. We are in the world but we are also Divine. I give my students tools to help them connect with themselves and their purpose.”

One tool is her Annual Yoga & Spiritual retreat held in Tuscany, Italy every September. “I don’t believe spirituality has to be sterile or spartan. We stay in lush settings, eat nourishing foods and immerse ourselves in healing.”

Dana also leads workshops on the first Sunday evening each month at Mondo in Summit. “I’ve taught everything from Forgiveness to Creating Strong Boundaries. I have found that in today’s society, there is often a disconnect with our mind, body and spirit. It is my intention to offer opportunities for us to get back in touch with our Soul.”

Reconnect to Your Spirit in Tuscany on September 11-16, 2017. To learn more visit AccessibleSpirituality.com or contact Dana at [email protected].
