2 Hour Yoga Workshop - Instructor: Toula Grivas
Surya namaskar means saluting the sun. Sun salutations are an ancient foundational practice used to heal and/or enhance the physical body by improving posture, lengthening the spine, increasing muscle strength, bettering mobility in the joints as well as improving lung health and mental focus. This workshop will explore and demystify the breath or pranayama practice and its importance of coordinating breath with movement-optimizing health benefits in the practice of surya namaskar. All levels are welcome.
