2016 New Jersey Sustainability Summit to be held in June

Registration opens in March for the 2016 New Jersey Sustainability Summit, a collaborative enterprise whose mission is to ensure a sustainable future for New Jersey and beyond, to be held on June 15 at the College of New Jersey, in Ewing. The summit is sponsored by Sustainable Jersey, a nonprofit organization that provides tools, training and financial incentives to support communities as they pursue sustainability programs and is open to Sustainable Jersey green team and task force members, academics, elected officials, state and local agency representatives, businesspeople, nonprofit organizations and the interested public.

Summit highlights include keynote speakers Dr. Benjamin Strauss, vice president for Sea Level and Climate Impacts at Climate Central; breakout sessions filled with practical knowledge and resources to help advance sustainability efforts in your town; and the release of an updated Sustainable State of the State report.
