Empowered Light Holistic Expo Ushers in May

The Empowered Light Holistic Expo—a weekend of activities, products, services, lectures and classes promoting healthier lifestyles and spiritual development—is returning to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center May 1 to 3.

Visitors can try mini-sessions in meditation, sound healing and reiki; receive an intuitive or psychic reading; browse vendor booths; talk with a life coach or published author; listen to presentations by experts in health or spiritual development; and register for raffles.

Featured speakers are Diane Canfield, psychic clairvoyant and galactic ambassador with in-person visits by alien races; Reverend Dan Chesbro; Robin Eatman, psychic medium and animal communicator; and Michelle Bunting, channeling Seth.

Canfield will present Becoming Multidimensional /The Transformation Into Galactic Humans on May 2 and 3. Also on May 2 and 3, Bunting will present a live channeled event, Beyond Abraham: The Next Stage of Awakening with Seth. On May 1, Eatman will present an all-day Animal Communication workshop, and Chesbro will present Initiation to the Order of Melchezedek.

Before founding the expo, Sue Greenwald operated a wellness center offering yoga, dance, healing energy treatments, massage, and spiritual and self-development classes.

“The Empowered Light Holistic Expo started as a persistent idea,” she says. “I pursued it, starting with the contacts I had from my wellness center. I learned everything just by doing it—alone. The expo is designed so that people can learn, be inspired, try different types of classes, make new friends and have fun doing so.”

Location: 100 Station Ave., Oaks, PA. Hours: May 1, 4-9pm; May 2, 9am-7pm; May 3, 10am-5pm. For more info, visit EmpoweredLight.com. See ad, page 3.

5 Top Tips to Finding Your Next Doctor

1 Keep an Open Mind! Healthcare has come a long way. Today, you have access to practitioners that branch outside of traditional medicine and aim to identify the root causes of conditions while using alternative treatments that may help you get the relief you need. Just because it’s not a pill, doesn’t make it pseudoscience.

2 Build Your Health Care Team. There is no one doctor that can be the be-all-end-all for your health needs. Be sure to have a team of practitioners with different “lenses” and areas of expertise who will treat the root cause and not just the symptom(s).

3   Environment Influences Healing. Health is multi-factorial. Your mental and emotional environment plays a pivotal role in your healing potential. Your doctors and their staff should create an office atmosphere filled with positivity so you can get the most out of your care.

4 Your Story Matters.  Before you begin any treatment, be sure to have a comprehensive consultation to discuss your health concerns. Find practitioners who welcome questions and will take the time to listen and treat you with respect.

5 Report of Findings. When it comes to our health, we often make decisions without understanding the risk versus benefits. Knowledge is an important part of the healing process and is essential to make conscious, informed health decisions. Find practitioners who take the time to explain their exam findings and the recommendations for treatment in ways that make sense to you.
