On Tuesdays and Thursdays in February, Norwescap’s Career & Life Transitions Center for Women provides free virtual employment readiness training that includes a 50-hour computer training program, career counseling, job search skills, support groups, an empowerment program to build confidence and self-esteem, education grants and referrals to community resources. Recipients must qualify for services. 

Norwescap is a non-profit community action agency established in 1965 that creates opportunities for over 30,000 low-income people in northwest New Jersey by providing a large portfolio of self-sufficiency and emergency services. The mission of NORWESCAP is “Strengthening communities by creating opportunities that impact poverty.
