ADJUST Health Center Focuses on Customized Treatment

May 01, 2024 11:21AM ● By Debra Wallace

ADJUST Health Center is focused on healthy living, the importance of nurturing, and family, and making sure that each patient makes informed health decisions.

“I became a chiropractor because of my passion for healthy living. When you understand the importance of a healthy nervous system, you also understand how critical it is to maintain it,” explained Dr. Jason Abaza, the co-founder of ADJUST Health Center. “In my opinion, there’s no modality or treatment in the world that affects the nervous system to the same degree as a chiropractic adjustment.”

Drs. Jason and Marissa Abaza are a dynamic and compassionate husband-and-wife chiropractic team. They met in their doctorate program at Life University in Marietta, Georgia, and graduated together in 2017. This formidable couple returned to his home area, (East Hanover, N.J.), in 2018 to set up a cutting-edge health practice in Rockaway, N.J.

“We analyze the nervous system to find where the nerve signals are interrupted,” Dr. Jason said. “We don’t just address symptoms. “We work diligently to find the root cause by assessing the nervous system, finding out where the disruption is, and restoring normal nerve function. At ADJUST, we are unique because we do this without any twisting, popping, or cracking!”

The doctors at ADJUST still adjust the spine, but use a neurological technique called Torque Release Technique, alongside a tool called the Integrator, which delivers very specific and gentle adjustments to correct spinal subluxations, which are abnormal biomechanics to spinal segments causing nerve interference.

The major misconception about chiropractors is that they are only back and neck pain doctors, but the benefits of chiropractic go way beyond this. Chiropractic adjustments have helped with maladies including migraines, insomnia, vertigo, acid reflux, constipation, infertility, proper brain development in children, and can even reduce labor pains and delivery times by up to 60%!

Drs. Jason and Marissa do not treat any symptoms – not even back or neck pain. As chiropractors, the only condition they treat is subluxation. When subluxations are located and corrected, communication between the brain and the body is restored so the body can heal itself.

What sets ADJUST Health Center apart from other healthcare practices is the level of care. “We take great pride in our bedside manner and customer service. People feel this from us from the moment they walk in our doors,” he said. “At ADJUST, we will provide you with an experience like you’ve never had before. Our education, time spent with patients, ability to LISTEN, and customized treatment plans for each individual patient is what makes us special!”

ADJUST Health Center Always Puts Family First

ADJUST Health Center is clear about its values which are the importance placed on nurturing the family unit.

Drs. Jason and Marissa are the proud parents of two young children: a two-year-old son and three-year-old daughter. They get out of bed each morning grateful for, and excited about another day of work and family. Being family-focused is important to them and it’s something that clearly makes their thriving six-year-old chiropractic practice resonate with their community.

“I believe that health can, and should be, approached as a family,” Dr. Jason added. “The idea of everyone in a household investing in their health together is a powerful thing!”

“Helping moms bring a child into the world means everything to me. It’s an honor and blessing.” Dr. Marissa said. “This is truly the biggest thing someone will ever do, and I am committed to the health of the mom to allow the best environment for the baby to be born into.”

ADJUST Health Center Offers a Cutting-Edge Neuropathy Program

When Dr. Jason first heard about an all-natural, at-home neuropathy treatment program to help with peripheral neuropathy, he admits his initial skepticism. He spent the next two years researching the program, and the incredible results were undeniable.

“Neuropathy is a progressive and degenerative condition – meaning it will inevitably get worse over time,” Dr. Jason explained. “By traditional medical standards, neuropathy is considered permanent or irreversible. However, it is well established in scientific

ADJUST Health Center currently offers this cutting-edge, customized neuropathy program. It is a comprehensive treatment that utilizes up to 8 different state-of-the-art technologies and is centered on angiogenesis, (repair and creation of blood vessels), increasing bioavailable nitric oxide, improving mitochondrial function, re-educating the nerves, and reducing inflammation in the body.

“Our neuropathy testimonials continue to reveal phenomenal results, including one from a wheelchair-dependent patient who regained his independence by being able to walk and drive again,” Dr. Jason shared. “While it is not fun hearing stories of this debilitating problem, it is so inspiring to see the flipside and watch people get back to a normal way of life.”

“The man with his health has 1000 dreams, and the man without his health has but one,” he said. “We would love the opportunity to serve you and assist you in your health journey so that you can live the life you want with your health propelling you forward instead of holding you back.”

5 Top Tips to Finding Your Next Doctor

1 Keep an Open Mind! Healthcare has come a long way. Today, you have access to practitioners that branch outside of traditional medicine and aim to identify the root causes of conditions while using alternative treatments that may help you get the relief you need. Just because it’s not a pill, doesn’t make it pseudoscience.

2 Build Your Health Care Team. There is no one doctor that can be the be-all-end-all for your health needs. Be sure to have a team of practitioners with different “lenses” and areas of expertise who will treat the root cause and not just the symptom(s).

3   Environment Influences Healing. Health is multi-factorial. Your mental and emotional environment plays a pivotal role in your healing potential. Your doctors and their staff should create an office atmosphere filled with positivity so you can get the most out of your care.

4 Your Story Matters.  Before you begin any treatment, be sure to have a comprehensive consultation to discuss your health concerns. Find practitioners who welcome questions and will take the time to listen and treat you with respect.

5 Report of Findings. When it comes to our health, we often make decisions without understanding the risk versus benefits. Knowledge is an important part of the healing process and is essential to make conscious, informed health decisions. Find practitioners who take the time to explain their exam findings and the recommendations for treatment in ways that make sense to you.
