In our December issue, Natural Awakenings introduced readers to a new peace education program from Costa Rica called BePeace. The program teaches the practice of Feeling Peace, in the individual’s mind-body system, and the steps of Speaking Peace to others, through empathy and honesty. BePeace now has more than 500 trained instructors in the United States, where it is quickly becoming an effective tool for more peaceful living. 

 International peacemaker Rita Marie Johnson will be teaching a Level I Course in BePeace on March 24, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and March 25, from 1 to 5 p.m., at Unity of Sussex, 25 Mudcut Road, Lafayette. The cost is $249, or $199 if registering before March 10.
