Newton Hosts Tree of Health Center’s Universal Fair

Food, music, holistic vendors and much more will mark the second annual Tree of Health Center’s Universal Health Fair, to be held on the Newton Green and along Spring Street, September 24, from noon to 5pm, open to all, free of charge. The fair brings together natural practices and medicine from all over the world into one harmonious setting. The event’s goal is to raise awareness of different cultures’ healing practices and spirituality while also supporting Newton’s merchants and offering the community a fun and educational afternoon.

The Tree of Health Center, TTOHC, located at 55 Newton Sparta Road, is dedicated to bridging the gap between all healthcare traditions, with a strong focus on noninvasive practices and prevention. It team of unique healthcare specialists is passionate about health, growth and well-being.

The fair will feature a variety of ethnic foods, live entertainment and intriguing cultural exhibits.  Vendors, who will share their knowledge about unique healing modalities, creative expression and spiritual awareness, include Mudgestic Skincare, Hadley's Earth Crystals, It Works, ASEA-Cellular Health, the Village Shaman, Project Self Sufficiency, the Center for Prevention and Counseling, Sussex Arts and Heritage Counsel, and many more. Sponsors include Tri State Rentals and Freehand Custom Carvers, offering a free carving for auction to benefit TTOHC’s Universal Children’s Fund, which offers educational programs from K–12 in schools to help children express their creativity and feel balanced and peaceful.

The event also features a town crier throughout the day along with entertainment including musicians, drumming, meditation, and mixed martial arts.
