Facing Transitions Holistic Retreat at Waterloo Village
From new job to retirement, growing family to empty nest, freedom of movement to adjusting to illness, new relationship to divorce—each of these transitions stress mind, body, and soul. While it is common to feel isolated during major changes, you don’t have to face these hurdles alone. On Saturday, February 4, Waterloo Village Methodist Church is hosting a holistic retreat from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the JAM catering center on the Waterloo Village grounds. Retreat activities include yoga/meditation, journaling, group discussion and reflective practices.
“The purpose of the retreat is to help those going through times of transition feel supported and know they are not alone,” says Pastor Tim Nicinski. “During the retreat, we will address the challenges of change as we will work with mind, body and soul to face the journey through these times with grace and love.”
All ages and religious/spiritual backgrounds are welcome to attend. Light breakfast and vegetarian lunch are included.
Location: Waterloo Village, 525 Waterloo Road, Stanhope. Cost is $30 with net proceeds benefiting “A Future with Hope.” RSVP by February 2 at sites.google.com/view/waterloovillageretreat or [email protected] For information contact Waterloo United Methodist Church at 973-347-7900.
